“A Smallholder’s Voice” gives a glimpse into the lives of smallholder farmers and their families in the Centre Region of Cameroon. Jean-Marie and his family have been growing cocoa in Mbangassina since the 1970s, and he hopes his children and grandchildren will follow in his footsteps. Chantal Yagbo started her oil palm plantation with just one hectare and expanded it with help from her husband Jean-Jacques. Mama Mary grows cocoa to keep the household running and struggles daily with fluctuating prices.
